BOOKING TERMS
& CONDITIONS
On receipt of the completed booking form bookings for the Dray House self-catering accommodation availability will be checked and confirmed in writing by post or email. The deposit of 30% should be paid immediately to secure the booking by bank transfer or by cheque payable to Mrs L Hendry.
The balance of the total tariff must be paid 1 month before the date of your arrival. If the balance is not paid by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-let the cottage. We do not guarantee to issue reminders for the balance payment.
A cancellation must be advised as soon as possible and every effort will be made to re-let the property. For cancellations made by the Client within two weeks of the arrival date, the entire amount will be forfeit. We strongly recommend you insure against cancellation. The deposit is non-returnable. The transfer of the booking and payments to another date will be encouraged.
All bookings are from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure. Early arrivals or late departures may be available but only by prior arrangement, please ask.
The person detailed on the booking form as making the booking, certifies that he or she is authorised to agree the terms & conditions on behalf of all persons in the party and is a member of the party. No person other than those shown on the booking form may be accommodated unless confirmed in advance.

We ask you to report and pay for any damage or breakage in the property during your stay.

Guests are asked to leave The Dray House clean and tidy when vacating.

We operate a No Smoking Policy inside the property.

There are two parking spaces available for The Dray House guests.

It is the intention of the proprietors that The Dray House provides a relaxing holiday environment.

Short Breaks
Minimum 2 night short breaks are available to book in advance between April and October except during the weeks including the Goodwood Festivals where full weekly rates apply. Longer Stays - Tariffs for longer stays by negotiation.
These terms confer upon the guests the right to occupy the unit for a holiday within the meaning of Section 9 of the Rent Act 1977.
Accessibility – Guests must mind the headroom when entering and exiting the building.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure that our website and literature are correct the proprietors cannot be held liable for any changes or alterations made. The proprietors are relieved of any liability from accidents to guests and any loss or damage to guests’ property.
The proprietors reserve the right to decline accommodation. The proprietors are entitled to reasonable access to the property.

COVID-19
For bookings made on or after 6 April 2020, we advise you to consider the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and associated government measures. The Dray House has and does comply with guidance and best practice for your and our safety, liability and the decision to utilise the facilities of the Dray House during the pandemic reside with you the holidaymaker to take any additional steps to remain safe and virus free during these times, not the owners. The Dray House policy is to be as flexible as possible in the event that your holiday is impacted
by any future lockdown:
If as a result of coronavirus you are not allowed to go ahead as planned with your holiday due to any government imposed legislative lockdown or contraction of the virus or association with someone who has contracted the virus preventing you from travel. Provided the booking is not within two weeks of the arrival date (where normal cancellation rules apply - see above) we will work with you to reschedule your visit at no additional cost to you for another available date in the future.
